Migwani is the birthplace of the river Thua that stretches through the Kitui district. During the rainy season, the water runs from the many hills and valleys and gathers in the river. Migwani is a nice place, and you have a very good view over the hills and valleys which contribute to the river. The hill on each side is very steep, due to the erosion of the soil. To protect the road from eroding away, the way is cemented, something that makes a nice platform for you to stand on.
The drive is too long for this to be a must-see place to visit. If you happen to be in the area you should take a trip, otherwise it is not that worth it.
