If you want to take a swim, there is only one place to go in the Kitui area; Signal Hotel has a swimming pool that is open to the public. If you stay at the hotel the swimming pool is included in the price, but it is also open for other people than hotel guests, but you then have to pay an entrance fee.
In 2011 the fee is:
200 KES for adults
100 KES for children

There is a main swimming pool with a bar and seating area where you can buy meals and drinks. They also have a swimming pool for the children, and they are currently expanding; adding an additional pool and outdoor area. There is also a playground that can be used.
