Museve is a hilltop that serves as a magnificent viewpoint over the Makongo, Kiongwe and Mutitu Hills. It is called “God’s Bridge” by the locals . You can see all the way till the well-known Nzambani Rock. At the top, there is a little local dispensary and a church. It is said that this is the place where the first missionaries settled and build Kenya’s first missionary station.

This area is quite green compared to many other regions. It is located about a 30 minute drive outside Kitui town center. As with many roads in the area it is quite bumpy and there are no road signs, so the best way to get there safely is to use a local guide.
